We Made It!

Finally after a broken plane, a nine hour flight delay (not including the initial twelve hour layover due to that damn broken plane), a group of incredibly loud-mouthed, caffeine-overloaded thirteen year old students attempting to expand their knowledge of the Spanish language by traveling to Madrid for the summer, bitchy flight attendants, cramped seats and plastic-tasting airplane meals, we are in Istanbul! Today we toured a bit of the city, traveled down the Bosporus, and then split up to visit a bazaar and explore the local restaurants. We’re all exhausted and I’m getting ready to go to sleep, since it’s nearly 1:30 am here. I’m posting some pictures of our day in Istanbul and I would like to post even more but I don’t have every one’s photos yet. If I’m fortunate enough to get ahold of them, I’ll upload them right away. I’ll also add the photos from our terrible day in Miami tomorrow. Goodnight.
