Stuck in Miami

So our plane broke. Two hours into the flight from Miami to Madrid our plane turns around due to technical difficulties. I’m still not 100% sure what the problem was, but it had something to do with a piece of equipment displaying incorrect or inaccurate data. Now we’re stuck in Miami for the night after spending four to five hours on a smelly, cramped plane with a few clogged and broken toilets and some pissed off flight attendants who we have to deal with again tomorrow since we’re flying the same damn plane. Fun way to start a vacation. On the bright side Iberia paid for hotel rooms for everyone for the night (which turned out to be pretty decent) as well dinner, breakfast, and lunch. That still doesn’t make up for the fact that they kept our luggage on board the aircraft. Everyone will be a little smelly tomorrow…
