Went very well. I played my solo piece on guitar, even though I was extremely nervous. This was the first time I have ever done anything like this. Sure I’ve done piano recitals, but that was years ago and this was my first time doing something very similar to that. I played “Endless Road” by Tommy Emmanuel. This guy is insane. I only played the first two minutes of the song, since I haven’t been working on it all that long. It’s going to take me a while to get the rest. Here’s a link to that song. Our jazz combo also played for two to three hours as well. I’ll see if I can get a hold of some of the pictures. Then, to fill time, Jamie (drums), Austin (violin) and I (guitar) played a piece I made up that morning, which turned out pretty well. Hopefully I’ll finish it sometime soon. The rest of the time we spent jamming. What a great Saturday night.
